The Texans wide out core may have just added that veteran experience they been looking for as Jason La Canfora, of the Washington Post, is stating that the team has agreed to terms with unrestricted free-agent WR Keenan McCardell. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. McCardell will be entering his 16th season, this after playing the last three years with the Chargers. McCardell has played in 199 career games, starting 167. He has a career 861 catches for 11117 yards and 62 touchdowns. The Texans, who released Eric Moulds early in the offseason, have been searching for a vet to help out the young wide out core. McCardell should fill that void. Last season he caught 36 passes for 437 yards and 0 TD’s.
