Check-In Day For the Texans

It’s check-in day at Houston Texans training camp and players are already praising new quarterback Matt Schaub. Guard Chester Pitts said yesterday that Schaub is a hard worker who shows up early. Schaub was acquired in an offseason trade with the Atlanta Falcons for draft picks. Since then, teammates have been praising Schaub’s leadership style, especially compared to that of former quarterback David Carr. The first full day of training camp is tomorrow.
