Texans coach Gary Kubiak says after Sunday’s embarrassing loss to Atlanta, he’s just hoping some players will return from the injured list quickly.  He’s optimistic that receivers Jerome Mathis and Jacoby Jones will be back at practice tomorrow, and so will cornerback Fred Bennett.  Running back Ahman Green may return later this week after a knee injury.  If not, Kubiak says Ron Dayne is ready to fill-in.  It’s less certain when receiver Andre Johnson will come back.  His knee injury has healed, but he’s still recovering.

The Texans may need to look into a RB answer, Dayne and Gado are too slow to be a fulltime threat to run defenses. The Falcons were without their two DT starters!
The loss of Chris Taylor really hurt our RB depth. Maybe get RBs Lundy or ex-ND, rookie, Walker back in here. Kubiak should have bit on ex-TX, rookie RB Selvin Young back in the offseason after he wasn’t drafted.
