Texans coach Gary Kubiak says he just hopes he’ll have one healthy quarterback going into next Sunday’s game against San Diego. Quarterback Matt Schaub is suffering from a sore lower back and leg as well as a bruised thigh, and he needs to show drastic improvement this week before he can play. Kubiak says he’s ready to start Sage Resenfels instead, if need be. Rosenfels has had two career starts during his seven seasons with the NFL, the last one in Miami in 2005. Kubiak says he has confidence in Rosenfels, though. Schaub was sidelined for a while last Sunday after a hard hit from Tennessee Titans player Albert Haynesworth just before halftime. Kubiak says Schaub isn’t badly hurt, just “very beat up.”
