Wildfires Could Delay, Move Sunday’s Texans Game
Posted by Matt Loede on October 23rd, 2007 filed in NewsSome out-of-control wildfires in San Diego County may change the time and place for this Sunday’s game between the Houston Texans and the Chargers. The parking lots at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium are being used as an evacuation center for fire victims, so the Chargers have moved their practice to Phoenix, Arizona. NFL managers say they’ll be watching the situation in San Diego before deciding whether to move this Sunday’s game to the Cardinals’ facilities in Phoenix. If it’s moved, then the question will be “when?” Arizona is in an open week, but a motorcycle show is booked into their stadium Sunday, so a game between the Texans and the Chargers would have to be bumped up to prime time Sunday or could be delayed until Monday night.

Is there any way that it could be moved like a Baseball game’s rain date? That seems highly doubtful but where else, when else? Good point/finds on what you stated. Moto show should cancel itself for the Texans!!!!!
