Texans To Find Out Today Where They Play

The Texans will find out today where they’re going to play this Sunday.  NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says he’s waiting to hear from the mayor of San Diego about whether the game between Houston and the Chargers can be played as scheduled at Qualcomm Stadium.  That stadium is now being used to house residents who’ve had to evacuate their homes because of the out-of-control wildfires in San Diego County.  Texans owner Bob McNair has been working to get the NFL’s permission to play Sunday’s game at Reliant Stadium.  There is some precedent for that.  Two years ago a game between the Giants and the Saints was moved from the Superdome to Giants Stadium because of Hurricane Katrina.
