WR Johnson to be Back for Saints Game 11/18

Johnson

The Houston Texans have been void of their biggest offensive playmaker since after week two, but for wide out Andre Johnson, his return to the field is getting closer by the day.  No, don’t put Johnson in your fantasy lineup just yet, as this weekend Johnson will not play, but team officials say that he will be back for the teams game November 18th vs the Saints.  The Texans have the bye next week.  “He’s made a lot of progress this week. He’s practiced pretty darn good. He’s not 100 percent, but he’s close,” head coach Gary Kubiak said.  “The best thing for Andre and for our football is to make sure that he gets another 16 or 17 days of rest. We will proceed that way. He’ll be back against New Orleans and we’re excited about that.”  Johnson has been inactive the last six weeks with a knee sprain, and hopefully once he’s back, he and quarterback Matt Schaub can get back on the same page like they were in games one and two when they led the team to a 2-0 record.
