Sage Rosenfels went 11-of-19 passing for 181 yards and a touchdown while Ron Dayne ran for 122 yards and a score as the Houston Texans beat the Oakland Raiders, 24-17, at McAfee Coliseum. Raiders quarterback Josh McCown, who missed the past four games with a broken toe, went 13-of-28 passing for 158 yards and a touchdown but was also intercepted three times as Oakland dropped its fourth straight game to fall to 2-and-6. As his struggles continued, Raiders fans were heard calling for JaMarcus Russell to make his debut. In the loss, Justin Fargas ran 23 times for 104 yards and a touchdown while Tim Dwight, in his first game as a Raider, caught a 28-yard touchdown pass. Sebastian Janikowski just missed what would have been an NFL-record 64-yard field goal. The ball had plenty of distance but hit high off the right post. The Raiders play host to the Chicago Bears this Sunday afternoon.
