Bennett to be Called Upon with Robinson Done

Bennett is Robinson’s protege, who made his first start of the season Sunday in Oakland. Bennett is a fourth-round draft pick out of South Carolina who says he just wants to make his mentor proud. Robinson suffered injuries to a ligament and hamstring at the end of last season. He’s the sixth defensive back on the injured reserve this season. Coach Gary Kubiak says DeMarcus Faggins will replace Robinson and will start opposite Bennett.
