Robinson Undergoes Knee Surgery by Dr. Andrews

The Houston Chronicle reported that CB Dunta Robinson underwent knee surgery Monday to attach a torn right hamstring and repair his torn right ACL.  No cartilage damage was found by Dr. James Andrews, the popular orthopedic surgeon who performed Dunta’s knee surgery, but it is likely that Robinson will need nine months to a year to recover from the surgery and rehabilitation.  Thus, if his recuperation takes too long he could miss the start of the Texans 2008 training camp.   Robinson is by far the Texans best corner and will be missed as the Texans secondary’s mistakes have been worth forgetting this season.
