Tough Year For Texans Rookies
Posted by Matt Loede on December 27th, 2007 filed in NewsIt’s been a tough year for the rookies among the Texans. Wide receiver Jacoby Jones describes it as “a marathon” in which he entered the season with high hopes and ended up dealing with the aftermath of a separated shoulder. Now, going into the final game of the 2007 season, Jones will be the number-four receiver. The Texans take on Jacksonville this Sunday at noon at Reliant Stadium. Rookie Fred Bennett will start against Jacksonville, and Zac Diles could end up playing in relief for linebacker DeMeco Ryans, who’s injured.
