Former Texan Lundy Arrested

Lundy

Former Texan RB Wali Lundy was arrested Sunday after being found inside a vehicle parked outside of a playground with an open container of gin and smoking marijuana in Burlington County, the same county in which Eagles DT Mike Patterson was charged with under 50 grams of marijuana last weekend. Lt. Wayne Maver found Lundy after 10 PM at night alone in his car outside the playground after permitted hours that led to the officer’s search.

Lundy, a former Burlington County and Holy Cross High School standout played 14 games for the Houston Texans rushing for 204 yards and achieving four touchdowns after an impressive offseason in 2006. Although he was released August 31, 2007, there were indications that the Texans wanted to sign him during their injury-prone-RB season in 2007.
