SS Brown Receives 2nd Round Tender Offer

The Texans starting strong safety and restricted free agent, C.C. Brown was drafted in the sixth round by the Texans in 2005 and has proved himself well enough that the Texans offered a second round tender with a guarantee 1.4 million base salary to be the Texans starting SS in 2008.  The Texans’ offer may keep most teams from chasing the safety who had career bests in 2007 with 83 tackles, 8 passes deflected and five fumbles forced and recovered.
