Texans Re-Sign TE Bruener

The Texans re-signed TE Mark Bruener on Monday adding to their depth at the TE position. Bruener, playing in 14 games and starting in one, mainly served as a blocking TE throughout the 2007 season for the Texans. He will most likely carry the same role into next year helping the Texans in short yardage situations and on special teams. At 6′4″ 236lbs and at the age of 35, Bruener has 152 career receptions for a total of 1,333 yards and 18 touchdowns after 14 seasons in the NFL
