Texans To Re-Sign Turk
Posted by Stephen Rhodes on March 19th, 2008 filed in NewsThe Houston Texans are very close to an agreement that will allow punter Matt Turk to remain with the team - perhaps as early as today; Turk signed a one-year deal just days before last season’s training camp. Turk had a solid campaign in 2007 with a 37.9-yard net punt average, while landing 24 of his 55 punts inside the 20-yard line, which ranked him second in the NFL with a 43.6% average.
