The Houston Texans are very close to an agreement that will allow punter Matt Turk to remain with the team – perhaps as early as today; Turk signed a one-year deal just days before last season’s training camp. Turk had a solid campaign in 2007 with a 37.9-yard net punt average, while landing 24 of his 55 punts inside the 20-yard line, which ranked him second in the NFL with a 43.6% average.
