Earlier this month, the Houston Texans expressed interest in veteran cornerback Andre Dyson to fill depth needs in the Texans secondary. On Thursday, Dyson visits the Texans and depending on how things go he may add the needed experience and depth to the Texans’ secondary. According to the USA Today, the Houston Texans are the only team to have expressed interest in Dyson during this free agency period.

Dyson, formerly of the New York Jets, played in only 9 games last season totaling 12 tackles, four pass deflections and one interception. But his career stats outdo his last season with the Jets. In 96 games, Dyson registered 317 tackles, 61 pass deflections, 22 interceptions and four touchdowns. He has played for the Jets, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans in his eight-year career.
