For the second year in a row, the Texan's sign undrafted free agents that have more potential than what Casserly used to draft. The team continues to improve; it's almost like Houston fans should consider the franchise only 3 years old at this point. With Casserly and Capers, the team seemed to be going backwards during the first few years of their existence. Thanks goodness, that trend is no longer the case!

COLE BENNETT, AUBURN. This guy is a great prospect. At 6-5, 260, he will be able to play the edge and block in any scheme. He ran a 4.64, 4.69 and a 4.74 during pro-day at Auburn. Plus, his wonderlic test result was among the upper teir of quarterbacks. At Auburn, he made the offensive line calls and anchored a group that included three true freshmen starting. While used as a blocking tight end, he has excellent pass receiving skills, and according to Kiper's website, did not drop a catchable pass in all of his four years. He is the son of a high school football coach, was reaised around the game, and will be a tremendous leader in the locker room as well as during the off-season.
