Free Agent LB Colvin and Texans Remain in Contact

Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the Texans remain interested and are still talking to free agent linebacker Roosevelt Colvin. GM Rick Smith confirmed that “Talks are ongoing,” and that they have stayed in contact with the agent for Colvin, who was in for a visit last week. Colvin could be a big factor for the Texans if he can come in at 100 percent and provide some support for former number one pick Mario Williams. The Colts, Jets and Browns are three other teams that reportedly have interest in Colvin, who was released this offseason by the Pats.
