The release of Texans QB Quinn Gray did not come as a major surprise, the way we hear it, as Gray’s play in his short stint with the club had left something to be desired. Rookie Alex Brink and Shane Boyd, who has yet to play a regular-season down, will compete to be the No. 3 quarterback behind starter Matt Schaub and backup Sage Rosenfels.
