The Texans are going to have to make a decision on OG Charles Spencer’s future before training camp. Spencer, attempting to make it back after missing the last 30 regular-season games with a knee injury, has yet to practice. If he is not ready for training camp, his future with the club could be in doubt. The Texans would rather not put him on the physically-unable-to-perform list, as that would leave them with one fewer training-camp roster spot. And a third stint on injured reserve is also unlikely to be an option.
