Kubiak Should Pull the Plug on Schaub and Make the Switch at QB

With the Texans offense struggling after two games, a change at the top position on the team may be coming according to today’s Houston Chronicle. The paper is reporting that if head coach Gary Kubiak takes a long look at the outing of QB Matt Schaub the first two weeks like the rest of the team, the change will be made to Sage Rosenfels for the teams week three game at Jacksonville.
Schaub has a $48 million dollar deal on the table, and the team gave up draft choices for him, so allowing him to sit would be painful, but right it would be best for the team. Schaub looks tenative in the pocket, is holdng the ball too long, and isn’t getting the ball to the wide outs enough. Rosenfels came in and played well in 07, so it’s time for Kubiak to give him a shot before the season really starts to slip away.

Lets see what Sage can do,…it can’t hurt. Maybe the only hope we have.
