Now former Texan says he does not have any hate towards the Texans. Today’s Houston Chronicle talks about it:

Fred Weary hasn’t watched the play that crushed his right leg and ended his career with the Texans. He might have the stomach for it someday, down the road perhaps, when his NFL career is over and he’s teaching math and coaching high school football. He’ll be able to put these last few months in some context. Grievances will be decided, hard feelings soothed. Now about today. Whatever anger he once felt for the Texans is pretty much gone. Now it’s business.

“It takes energy to be angry at someone – energy I care not to use,” Weary said. The offensive guard doesn’t want to burn any bridges because he’s looking for work and NFL teams want no part of a malcontent. Still, he believes the Texans misdiagnosed an injury to his right knee last summer and then dropped him from the roster before he was healthy
