Texans Sign Safety Busing and Guard Jones
Scout.com reports that the Texans have come to terms with a couple of players today:
The Houston Texans have signed free agent S John Busing, Scout.com has confirmed.
Busing was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2006 by the Cincinnati Bengals and was on and off their roster over the past few seasons. Busing was set to become a restricted free agent, but Cincinnati declined to tender him a contract.
Busing, who has good size, projects to play strong safety. Busing was one of the Cincinnati’s top special teams players in 2008.
The team also signed free agent G Adrian Jones. Jones, a former fourth-round pick out of the 2004 draft by the New York Jets, started 10 games for the Kansas City Chiefs last season.
Because the Texans have little depth at guard, he has a good shot to make their roster this season.

Recently I visited a facility in Stafford TX named Plex to get some rehab on an old injury and to my surprise there were so many NFL players working out there on a consistent basis, sadly they didn’t allow me to get any autographs lol. Among all the impressive athletes, one guy caught my eye. His name is Champ Glory (yes its really Champ Glory), he’s the trainer at the facility. I’ve never seen an athlete so well put together as he is, I haven’t really had a chance to speak to him but as I did hear him mention that he had a youtube video. So I typed his name in and to my surprise he really is a football player. One word to describe the kid, “wow”. Who’s going to pick this guy up, any ideas out there?
