Veteran free agent fullback Kyle Eckel auditioned for the Houston Texans today, according to a league source. Eckel has previous stints with the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and the Philadelphia Eagles. He was cut by the Eagles during their final major roster cutdown this year after being signed by the Patriots last October.
