Daniels feels he and the Texans can come to terms on a deal

NFL.com reports that despite issues with his current contract, Owen Daniels seems to feel that he will be able to get a deal done with the Texans:

Owen Daniels is confident that he and the Texans can agree on contract terms. So, he’s in Houston this week for voluntary offseason workouts while rehabilitating a right knee injury that prematurely ended his 2009 season. “I did not sign my tender, but the Texans stepped up and put a document together that allowed me to come out and still rehab and be around the guys,” Daniels, a restricted free agent, said Tuesday, “so it’s definitely an act of good faith on their part to protect themselves and me as well.”
