Texans Ink 7th Round Pick WR Dorin Dickerson

The Texans have agreed to a four-year deal worth roughly $1.845 million with seventh-round wide receiver Dorin Dickerson, a league source confirmed. Dickerson’s signing bonus was nearly $55,000. The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder played tight end at Pitt for the past two seasons, catching 49 passes for 529 yards and 10 touchdowns last season as a John Mackey award finalist.

He originally enrolled at Pitt as a wide receiver before moving to linebacker and back to the offensive side of the football for the past two seasons. Dickerson was one of the top performers at the NFL scouting combine, posting a 4.4 in the 40-yard das and a 43 1/2 inch vertical leap.
