Texans-Colts to Show Act of Solidarity

Fox 26 News reported that the Texans and Colts will show an act of solidarity before their game Sunday.  The Saints and the Vikings ignited the act in an effort to end the chance of there being a 2011 holdout season.

In that (Saints-Vikings) game all of the players moved a few yards onto the field after the national anthem and held up their index fingers to show they had solidarity in their efforts to reach a new collective bargaining agreement with the owners.

League sources told FOX 26 Sports Saturday the Texans and Colts will do the same thing.

One NFL source told FOX 26 Sports the act of solidarity by the Texans and Colts players on Sunday will not just be for the players.

The act is also to show support for the workers and businesses that would be affected by a lockout.
