Foster Benched First Quarter for Missing Team Meeting

The Houston Texans reportedly benched running back Arian Foster today for the first quarter because he missed a team meeting and was late for others.  Kubiak decided to keep Foster, with his helmet on, on the sidelines while Steve Slaton and Derrick Ward ran through the Raiders’ defense.  The two backup running backs played well in Foster’s absence.  For Foster, he manned up to his actions:

“I didn’t handle my business off the field. I apologize to my teammates for it. . . . I had a talk with myself. I just need to get things right. I’m going to do it, and this is the last time you’ll see that.”
