Schaub Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

The Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub has been awarded the AFC Offensive Player of the Week following his Week 6 305-passing-yard, two touchdown performance in the win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Reliant Stadium.  Schaub played worthy of the award.  He staged his second comeback win of the season and set precedent to Texans fans everywhere.  Most importantly, he’s stepping up to the team and likely achieving his own personal goals since beginning his NFL career as the backup quarterback than none other than Michael Vick.
