Texans’ Daniels and Adibi Game-Time Decisions; Chargers’ Gates, Floyd and Naanee Doubtful

The Texans-Chargers Friday injury reports are out.  The Texans expect Mario Williams and Andre Johnson to be full-go’s and are listed as probable while tight end Owen Daniels and linebacker Xavier Adibi are game-time decisions.  Shaun Cody is listed as questionable.  For the Chargers, they will likely be without the NFL’s touchdown reception leader and tight end Antonio Gates, and receivers Malcolm Floyd and Legedu Naanee.  610 Sports Radio reported no player who was listed doubtful under head coach Norv Turner have ever played in the listed game.  For the Texans, they’ll be facing a backup tight end yet again.  This time they’ll likely face veteran tight end Randy McMichael.  McMichael has had a decent NFL career and fills-in well as a starter.  Remembering what the athletic Colts’ backup tight end, Jacob Tamme, did last week to the Texans, the Texans will likely still prepare for Sunday’s game as if Gates will play and be ready for McMichael.
