Where Were You When the Hail Mary Was Completed?

As I was working on my second my Texas Civil and Criminal Practice assignment of the semester, I casually watched the last play of the Texans-Jaguars game.  I expected the Jaguars’ quarterback David Garrard’s Hail Mary to fall haplessly incomplete and the Texans to take the game to overtime.  Oh was I wrong, I was in disbelief the second the ball was batted into Mike Thomas’ possession.  When it was all clear what happened, I broke out into the weirdest “Uh huh huh huh” laugh ever.  How about you?  Where were you when the Hail Mary was completed?  Can we already call it a dagger to the season?

I was in the restaurant where I work, watching people’s jaws hit the bartop.

I was sitting on the couch thinking we better win the coin toss in overtime because our defense sucks. Never did I anticipate that was going to happen.

I was in a pub, watching, watching, laughing. Then I wantched all the Texans fans trickle out the door. I turned to another TV and began to watch a real team play football, not vollyball.
