Titans OC Heimerdinger to Call Plays at Houston on Sunday

The Tennessee Titans’ offensive coordinator, Mike Heimerdinger, will call the plays for one more game this season before beginning cancer treatment on Monday.  Heimerdinger was recently diagnosed with cancer, but feels “good enough to finish up this week and call the game,” according to Titans head coach Jeff Fisher.  He’s had the privilege this week of preparing third-string quarterback Rusty Smith to take on the Texans’ league worst pass defense; leaving the possibility of exiting the season on a good note.  However, look for Kareem Jackson, Jason Allen, Glover Quin and Antwaun Molden to turn things around on Sunday, and take advantage of Tennessee’s starting rookie quarterback.
