Johnson Will Decide If He Plays Versus Jags

Gary Kubiak indicated Monday that Andre Johnson (ankle) will have discretion in giving it a go on Sunday at 3:15 PM CT against the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Johnson missed last week’s game at Denver.  His ankles have been injured all season, especially the right since has been damaged since the Week 2 win at Washington D.C. where he totaled 148 receiving yards and the clutch game winning TD.

Gary Kubiak said Monday, “I hope he taps me on the shoulder and says he’s ready to go. If he tells me Friday that he feels good enough to play, then he’s going to play.”

Fox Sports Houston reported Johnson is 284 yards of receiving 1,500 yards on the season.  Andre Johnson has totaled 1,500 receiving yards for the past two seasons, and achieving 1,500 on the season would have made him the only receiver in NFL history to accomplish such a feat.  Don’t worry Texans fans, Johnson’s signed through the 2017 season.
