Dog Attack Charges Dismissed Against Ex-Texan Foley

Last time we talked to you about former Houston Texan linebacker Steve Foley, it regarded another of his run-ins with the law.  This time, Foley’s charges for failure to secure were dropped.  In 2008 Foley was indicted in 2008 on third-degree felony charges stemming from an incident where his two pit bull dogs attacked a neighbor and her puppy.  The woman was bitten on her arms and face by Foley’s pit bulls.  Her puppy was killed by the dogs.

Fort Bend Assistant District Attorney Matt LaForge explained the outcome of the case:

“(Foley) paid compensation to the victim to satisfy the out-of-pocket expenses for her injuries, and it was her desire to move on from the situation.”
