Schaub the Most Injury Prone Player in the NFL?

How injury prone is Texans QB Matt Schaub? Well, Sid Saraf, writer for Fox Sports says that overall he is the MOST injury prone player in the NFL. In a recent piece on the site, Schaub describes the QB as a “likeable guy,” but with his injury history he’s just a disaster waiting to happen.

Let’s face it, he’s a likable guy,” says Saraf. “He doesn’t pop off at the mouth and he has tons of talent. Plus, men with a receding hairline always cut a sympathetic figure. But, he’s gotta stay on the field. In 2007 he missed five games (concussion, separated shoulder) and another five in 2008 while dealing with knee problems. In his one complete campaign in 2009 he made the Pro Bowl. Coincidence?”

Of course QB’s are going to dominate the list due to the fact they take a lot more hits than others. Schaub has been healthy since week 14 of the 2008 season and has 36 consecutive starts, but has a history of being hurt, and here’s hoping that the worst is behind him when it comes to injuries.
