Texans Promote Mike Maccagnan to Director of College Scouting

The Texans have named Mike Maccagnan their director of college scouting, reports John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Maccagnan replaces Dale Strahm, who had been in the position since 2006. Strahm is now the Texans’ national scout.

One of the original members of the Texans’ personnel department, Maccagnan joined the Texans in 2000 as a pro scout after spending six years in the Washington Redskins’ scouting department.
