Mario Williams out for the season

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports Texans star sack machine Mario Williams is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle and will have surgery this week.

Second round rookie linebacker Brooks Reed (Arizona), who replaced the North Carolina State legend on Sunday against Oakland, will likely get most of his reps as a result of the season-ending injury to the former Wolfpack standout.

Reed registered four tackles (three solo) during the 25-20 loss to the Raiders.
