Veteran QB help: Texans bring in Delhomme, Garcia

The Houston Texans are working out retired quarterback Jake Delhomme and four-time Pro Bowler Jeff Garcia on Tuesday following the season-ending injury to Matt Leinart, according to Adam Schefter, who cites a league source through ESPN.

Delhomme is deciding whether the Houston opportunity is tempting enough to come back to the NFL, the source said.

The source also said the Texans intend to sign one of the two quarterbacks after Tuesday’s workout.

Garcia worked out for the team following starter Matt Schaub’s season-ending foot injury last week, but Houston decided to sign Kellen Clemens instead.
