The Texans and Eagles pulled off a deal Tuesday, one that sent Pro-Bowl middle linebacker DeMeco Ryans to the Eagles..
The final deal that Philadelphia worked out is — the Eagles third and fourth rounders in exchange for Ryans and the Texans third rounder.
Ryans had 64 tackles and one forced fumble last season. The main reason the Texans were willing to trade the former Pro-Bowler is because he is best suited for a 4-3 defense, as opposed to the 3-4 that Wade Philips is now running in Houston. Ryans, pending a physical, will be with the team and fill in as the starter from day one.
