Week Three Sunday 9/22 at Baltimore - The Texans have a shot early in the 2013 season to prove they can play with the big boys, as in week three they head to Baltimore to take on the champion Ravens. Baltimore lost two key defensive players this offseason in Paul Kruger and the retired Ray Lewis, but want to prove they still have it. The Texans need to have big games from their two big stars – Arian Foster and Andre Johnson to be able to take care of a weaker Ravens bunch.

Week Thirteen Sunday 12/01 vs New England – The Texans host the Pats in week 13, a key game that could have homefield for the playoffs which by then will be just a few weeks away. Again the key will be is playing sound football and making sure to not let Tom Brady and the Pats offense have a big game on the Texans turf. Another way to do that – run the ball and make sure to not make mental mistakes such as turnovers and penalties. That’s the key to having the best shot to stopping and beating the Pats.

Week Sixteen Sunday 12/22 vs Denver – Peyton Manning and the Broncos come to town a few days before Christmas, and the Texans defense better be in the giving mood – giving Manning a couple shots to try and get some turnovers and short fields. The Broncos defense was good last season, and some early points by the Texans could be the key to knocking off the 2013 Broncos, a team that thrives on getting early leads and having their defense tee off on opposing QB’s.
