As a head coach, it is very important to build a bond with your players. That is already what Texans’ Bill O’Biren has began to do. The Texans had a long season last year that resulted in them getting the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Now they have a long offseason as well as the rebuilding process has already began to take shape.
O’Brien has been at the Senior Bowl all week in hopes of finding some talent to help the Texans in the future. Meanwhile, O’Brien has met with a number of his players already and so far, they like what they see from the 44-year-old coach.
“I had a good meeting with him. Just a quick sit down to talk about a few things. I’m excited,” said JJ Watt. “It’s a new start, a fresh start. I’m excited to get back to work.
“He’s a straight shooter, a hard-nosed guy.” said Duane Brown. “He’s all about the team, putting the team first. I respect that and I’m ready to go to work.”
