Jadeveon Clowney Has Microfracture Surgery On Knee

Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney underwent successful microfracture surgery on his right knee on Monday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Recovery from microfracture surgery on a player’s knee can take at least nine months. If he’s able o return in nine months, Clowney would be ready on September 7th.

Dr. Walter Lowe performed the surgery.

“He had microfracture surgery,” general manager Rick Smith said. “It’s a pretty extensive rehab period. We’re hoping to have him back for the start of the season.
