The Texans will start camp without their number one pick from a year ago, as OLB Jadeveon Clowney has been placed on the active/physically unable to perform list.
The move is one that will enable the team to keep Clowney on the PUP list for the first six weeks of the regular season if his knee doesn’t cooperate.
Clowney can be activated at any point during training camp, and since even team physician Dr. Walt Lowe said that the OLB has looked great coming off his knee injury, he should be back soon and ready to go for the opener vs the Chiefs.
More bad injury news for the Texans with Clowney.
