With a groin injury to starting running back Arian Foster that could be having him headed for surgery, the Texans are going to work out former New Orleans Saints back Pierre Thomas, this according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle and the National Football Post.

It sounds like either the Texans already know the injury to Foster is going to have him sitting for some time, or they want to add another body to help a RB core that is going to be tested without Foster.
