Texans Release Veteran DL Damione Lewis

Aaron Wilson of Scout.com reports the Texans have released veteran defensive lineman Damione Lewis, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. Lewis is a former Rams first-round draft pick from the University of Miami. Lewis, 33, has also played for the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots.
