Mario Williams did not practice Wednesday while nursing a bruised shoulder. The elite defensive end is day-to-day, and head coach Gary Kubiak noted that he could play in Week 5 at Arizona even if he does not practice.
The Texans will have their first free agent in town tonight for a visit Sunday, as they will host Arizona free-agent defensive end Antonio Smith. NFL.com’s Adam Schefter says that “Smith is a player the Texans have eyed from afar, and they have visions of pairing him with defensive end Mario Williams.”
