Earlier this week the Houston Texans’ starting quarterback, Matt Schaub, was hospitalized with an injury to the bursa sac in his right knee. The bursa sac is a small, fluid filled sac in the knee that provides a cushion between bones and tendons and/or muscles around a joint. The hospitilization was a precautionary move as Schaub stayed overnight. On Thursday, Schaub practiced and took half the first team snaps. Gary Kubiak said he expects his star quarterback to play Sunday:
“Everything is pointing in the right direction.”
Schaub said the knee did not bother him Thursday in practice. Considering Schaub will play Sunday, he’ll hope his offensive line will be at their best against the Jets’ ferocious and dangerous defense.
