Injuries are popping up already for the Texans this camp, and they may have suffered a monster injury as running back Arian Foster left practice last night after he injured his groin in the team’s first fully padded practice.
“We’ve got to monitor Arian, like I told you guys that in the offseason and I think that’s what that’s all about today,” Texans head coach Bill O’Brien said.
Foster has missed 11 games over the last two seasons with injuries, and if it’s a situation where the injury simply requires rest to heal, expect to not see much of him for quite some time at camp while he recovers.
John McClain confirms that the injury could recover surgery:
Can confirm report by @taniaganguli that Arian Foster suffered groin injury in practice. Could require surgery.
