The Texans have a long offseason ahead of them, and one of the things they have to deal with is if Bill O’Brien is going to be their coach for the long term future.
His contract is done after 2018, and today he was asked about coming back next season to coach without a new deal in place, to which he replied he would.
Bill O'Brien on if he would coach next year without a contract extension: 'Sure, yeah. Yeah, sure. I'll coach this team as long as they want me to coach this team I'll coach this team. It hasn't been a great year. We know that. We know it's a business.'

It’s not been an easy year with over 20 players on IR, but with the fact the team has DeShaun Watson should be enough for the Texans coach to want to come back, as the club has a bright future ahead of it.
